Customer, supplier and marketing register.
4. Legal basis and purpose of the processing of personal data
The legal basis for the processing of personal data is the legitimate interest of the controller (customer relationship) or the documented consent of the individual.
Personal information is processed as part of establishing and maintaining a customer and supplier relationship and as part of sales and marketing efforts (newsletters and other communications).
The information will be kept for as long as necessary for Omuus Oy.
5. Information content of the register
Data to be entered in the register are: the person’s name, position, title, company / office, contact information (phone number, email address, postal address), company web-site addresses and other information related to customer relationships and business operations as well as marketing classifications (newsletter, Christmas card, etc.).
If the subscriber has subscribed to the newsletter itself, the information content of the register is the name and e-mail address.
6. Regular sources of information
Information is obtained through the customer relationship, through the Omuus Oy web site (contact forms, newsletter order form), by registering for Omuus Oy events or other similar situations (via e-mail, telephone, contracts, customer meetings and other situations) where the person himself or herself discloses information.
7. Regular disclosure of information
Information is not routinely disclosed to other parties except as required by the Finnish authorities.
The information may be disclosed and published to the extent agreed with the customer.
Supplier register information will be disclosed to potential customers, subject to written or verbal consent from the Supplier.
8. Transfer of data outside the EU or the EEA
Outside the EU, data is transferred to Omuus （beijing） technology co., Ltd in China, to Omuus Oy employees outside the EU and EEA.
Regarding newsletter, the subscription data is transferred to the United States due to the Mailchimp newsletter program is registered in the US.
9. Registry security principles
Personal information will be kept confidential. Only those employees of Omuus Oy who need information in their duties have access to the register. The Registrar and its IT partners, if any, shall ensure the security of the electronic data processing and the systems in which the Registry is located.
10. Right of inspection and the right to have the data corrected
Every person has the right to have his data recorded in the register checked and to have any incorrect information corrected or completed. If a person wishes to check or rectify the information stored about him / her, the request should be sent to the registrar by email to info@omuus.com. Prior to disclosure, the person must present a valid ID.
11. Other rights related to the processing of personal data
Every customer and supplier contact has the right to disable direct marketing by sending a request to info@omuus.com or by selecting the “unsubscribe” feature in the newsletter.
