Ranskalainen suunnittelija Constance Guisset loi ‘francis’ peilin pariisilaiselle Petite Friture yritykselle. Created by french designer Constance Guisset for the paris-based company Petite Friture, the ‘francis’ mirrors place soft washes of colour directly onto their viewing surfaces: the results of a series using pigments vanishing on water that are designed to suggest convexity and depth. Beautiful translation of an aging mirror. The patina in the mirror is transformed into a fluid color. This work is then reproduced identically on each mirror thanks to modern printing techniques. It exists in two shades, in blue or pink. The result is a rich palette of colours through which the user can look. The back of the mirror, with a slight shape of spinning top, has a small attach at the center so it can be held easily. The mirror comes in a small textile bag to protect it.
